PowerShift® Events Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms

By registering for a PowerShift® Weekend Experience you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not complete registration.

2. Event registration

• Attendance is limited and subject to approval by our facilitation team.
• We may request additional information to confirm alignment and safety.
• Registrations are non-transferable without written approval.

3. Health & safety requirements

• Participants must be at least 21 years old.
• You agree to complete the full health screening and disclose medications, conditions, and relevant history truthfully.
• Signed informed consent, liability waivers, and on-site agreements are required.
• Facilitator instructions and safety protocols must be followed at all times.

4. Payment terms

• Payment in full is due at registration unless a formal payment plan is arranged.
• Stripe processes all transactions; any fees from your bank are your responsibility.
• Package upgrades or add-ons incur additional charges payable prior to the weekend.

5. Cancellation & refunds

• 30+ days before the event: full refund minus a $500 stewardship fee.
• 14–29 days before: 50% refund.
• Less than 14 days: event credit only. No-shows forfeit the full investment.
• If we cancel or reschedule, you may choose a full refund or transfer to a future date.

6. Code of conduct

• Treat all participants, facilitators, and staff with respect.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal stories and experiences shared in the room.
• Recording, photography, or external communications require explicit permission.
• Illegal substances, harassment, or disruptive behavior result in immediate removal without refund.

7. Liability

You acknowledge that the work we do together carries inherent risk. By attending, you agree to release PowerShift Events, encode.org, facilitators, staff, and venues from liability for injury, loss, or damage except where prohibited by law.

8. Intellectual property

PowerShift® frameworks, materials, and session recordings are proprietary. They may not be reproduced or commercialized without written consent.

9. Privacy & confidentiality

We protect your information according to our Privacy Policy. You agree to extend that same respect to fellow participants.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be shared via email and posted here. Continued participation after updates indicates acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Disputes will be handled in Travis County, Texas.
